Tie-up Seine Cloth Panels

The quality is just amazing and all made in the USA.  Great for any home decor especially for those that like the very prim look since they are reproduced from original designs from the 18th and 19th centuries.  

Seine cloth is an extremely old fabric which originated in the Mediterranean predating the 1500's.  One of many types of netting.  This particular netting was used mostly as a gathering tool, fishing net or protective covering.  Earliest pieces are hand knotted.  Fishnet canopies are a larger hole and diamond shape version of the seine net.  Fishnet canopies were put into use as a way to catch falling debris from the ceiling.  Other types of netting consisted of different size holes, and different shape holes.  Netting has been used as a light filter in windows for many centuries.  A very timeless and classic look.

Cotton/Acrylic.  Machine wash: Gentle and cold.  Dry: low-med.

Available in three Lengths.  LENGTHS ARE APPROXIMATE.
